For my portfolio I wanted people to see the ideals, values, and experiences that shaped who I am today. The majority of my pieces found in my portfolio are done in graphite and are done so for a specific reason. I wanted the pieces I created to be seen as moments in my life that will forever be apart of me. While graphite is the sole medium of my portfolio I did create pieces in other mediums containing color in order to portray the vibrance in which children often see the world. Through my exploration of creating pieces using color I created a print and a collage to add to my portfolio that captured that vibrance.
